Hot Cocoa Bomb Ornament

1. Cut multi-cavity silicone molds to help with easily spreading chocolate or candy melts and for easier removal of the set spheres. 2. Always wipe any silicone molds with a paper towel saturated with vinegar or alcohol before use, as this helps maintain the shiny finish of the chocolate or candy melts. 3. (Optional) If using edible metallic luster, dust the molds with the luster powders before pouring the chocolate. 4. Temper the chocolate if using, as it is an absolute must for hot cocoa bombs (candy melts or Easy Candy by Fancy Sprinkles do not need to be tempered). 5. Coat the silicone molds with two thin layers of chocolate or candy melts using a brush, spoon, or cakesicle stick, as two thin coats are stronger than one. 6. Once your chocolate or candy melts set, release the sides of your molds first before pushing out your spheres/shapes from the bottom. 7. Fill the cocoa bomb halves with 2 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix and 1-2 tablespoons of mini marshmallows (or 1 large marshmallow). 8. Adhere two half spheres together by wiping one-half sphere on a hot plate, hot bowl, or skillet to slightly melt the rim before attaching it to the other half. 9. To insert a mini candy cane, make a hole with a thin hot knife first before inserting a chocolate-dipped end of a mini candy cane.
