Simple, fast, and effective chocolate cake pops perfect for New Year's Eve. Made with a mixture of chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream, dipped in black and white candy melts, and adorned with edible gold dust.
Roll the cakepop mixture (cake/buttercream) into neat balls (grease your hands with bit of vegetable oil to ease the process). Place into freezer for 10 minutes. Dip end of the cakepop stick into melted black melts/chocolate and insert into the cake balls, then place into freezer again for 5 minutes. Drizzle the melted white melts/chocolate and gold dust over the black melts/choco and lightly swirl with toothpick. Dip and swirl each cakepop until fully covered. Freeze or refrigerate until set. Enjoy!
